Scrap Material

Hello all,

Currently I only use UHMW-PE for all of the parts I make. I use different colors and thicknesses though. As of right now whatever scrap is left over I toss in it a box, once the box is full I wrap it up and wait till I have about 9 of these 32X32X32 boxes full. Then it all gets loaded up on our flat bed truck and taken somewhere (not sure where) and recycled. Also goes for the bags upon bags upon bags of "flakes" my vac sucks up while the machine is cutting.

Was wondering if their is a place somewhere that buys this scrap or left over material. Surely they are melting it down and re-using it so surely some place is willing to pay for this stuff. I can't see it being much but 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing!

I am located in Roann IN, 46974. Fort Wayne IN, 46845 is fairly large city and is fairly close.

Any tips on locations or suggestions is much appreciated!
