I'm having a problem again.... the file shows one with .250 EM and one with A .500 EM to cut a pocket...but the one with the .500 EM ..makes multiple pass's with the V bit...In the same spot...If Chuck, tony or any of the Wizards would like to help out it would be ok...Also why is there marks in the letters, you can see them when its finished(up and down lines around some of the letters)you can also see the move in the preview but not in the vectors
Thanks Dave

Hi Dave,
You've hit on a problem that surfaced once we released Version 4, but the is
a very simply workaround.
Edit the Stepover for the V-Bit to be very slightly smaller or larger and this
fixes the problem. With your example, edit the stepover = 0.009" or 0.011"
(instead of 0.010") and the toolpaths will be much better.
This has been fixed in the development build.
I hope this helps,
Tony

H again,
Some of the letters include discontinuitites - not smooth nodes - that get corner
sharpened by the cutter. You can see this in the 3D view where the toolpath runs
up the side of the letter.
Looking at these letters in the 2D view and zooming into the 'black nodes - you will
see there are really 2 nodes with a step between them. These nodes need to be
fixed using the delete (D) and smooth (S) keyboard options.
See the images below,
Tony
