Help with an 3d file

Hello all,

I want to make an 3D cut with this foto. A very old (how do you call it) motorcycle. Is there a nice and easy way with vcarce to do this??

What exactly are you looking to achieve? Have you played with Photo Vcarve?

Hello Juan,

A 3 dimensional object derived from a photo is not within the realm of VCarve Pro by itself.
It is however possible to cut a engraving from the photo using Photo VCarve.
The image you posted would have to be edited to remove the fold in the middle.
If you would like to produce a 2.5d flat engraving , I'm sure we can assist if needed.

I`m looking for a 3d file. I thought i saw someone doing it, here on this forum.
Mayby vcarve can`t do this. Than i will look to other programs. And make a g-code with Vcarve :P

Photo VCarve will etch or create a 3D relief (litho-like) based on the grey scale result of the picture.

If you want to have a 3D model of it, either full 3D or surface relief, it need to modeled in 3D CAD then toolpath in Cut 3D.

That's pretty much how far I can help based on what you provide as infos...
