Open vectors

Post by wabo1 »

I have passed trouble with 3D cut, now I am into Vcarve.

Why can´t I use Vcarve to trace single line vectors?
Is there any way just to route a single line, curved or straight?
I hope this is just something easy.
This for example where I already grouped all vectors

Hello Wabo
I think what you are after is profile cut with machine "On" vector.

How can I be so stupid! Thnak you. Works fine.
Is there any way to make ends being carved less deep so to create an effect similar so Vcarving?

Next problem:
When I have 2 tollpaths I get only one saved, even if I mark both. Anytime I get the only the first saved...

No not really. it would be easier to draw a closed vector and V-Carve that instead.

Make sure you have output toolpath to one file checked as per attached image.

Here the results of my first samples I did today.

Not very spectacular but I am happy that everything so far works fine.
