From "Start to Part"
I did this in 3hrs. I saw an example part in Modern Machine Shop magazine and just was curious how long it would take to make with Cut2D. Material is aluminum.Sorry for the bad picture quality. I will try to get a better photo later.

Re: From "Start to Part"
Hello,
The part looks very good, although the picture probably could show it better. I hope you actually have a use for the part after taking the time to cut it? Do you have some more aluminum parts planned to cut? Thanks for posting the picture and details.

Thanks Wes,
I am going to use the part as an example piece to show potential customers. I need to get more business.
As far as more aluminum parts go , I will make more just to keep my machining skills "honed".

Here are some better photos.
I am used to creating geometry with Mastercam , but this exercise was intended for me to become more familiar with Cut2d geometry creation.I had some difficulty placing the arcs in the exact places I wanted so I just used the cursor for a real close approximation.
Practice , practice , practice.......

Tony
