BMW Bike

Post by Adrian »

Although I did the bike in this post with Aspire I only used features that are available in Cut2D.

Hi Adrian,
I remember seeing the post in the Aspire forum. Did you end up with some final material thicknesses for the brass to be used for the rest of the bikes you will do? Any work on the other bikes yet?
Best regards,

I've been laid up with a back problem for most of the last two weeks so no actual cuts as yet. The four bike designs (adapted from scroll saw patterns) are now done.

They are 1953 BMW R25, 1958 Harley Davidson, 1940 Indian 4 and 1936 Harley Davidson El Knucklehead.

As soon as I'm able to stand up long enough to operate the CNC I'll experiment with the brass. Just got to fit it in before I get my wisdom teeth pulled, one thing after another at the moment!

Hi Adrian,
I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling too well. I was just curious when I saw the post again. Just take care of yourself for now, and I'm sure when you feel better we will see some updates of your work. Thanks!
