Hi, sorry if this has been asked before, my cnc max RPM is 24000 and max feed rate is 8m/min
I am wanting to cut 22 and 18mm MR MDF and wonder what cutter anyone would recommend and what speeds/ feed rate.
I need to get as best finish cut as I can on the edges
Thanks in advance

Re: ROUTING MDF
A 10mm diameter single flute bit would have a feed rate of about 7.8 meters/min @14K RPM.
Start test cuts at about 4 meters/min @14K and increase the feed rate until the edge quality degrades, then back off by about 10%.
Change the RPMs up or down from 14K and look at edge quality.
A screaming bit means you either need to have a faster feed rate or reduce the RPMs.
With a 2 flute bit you will have to feed faster or spin slower.
