Toolpath problem - Outside/Right is offset

Post by Slaney »

Hi, I am having problems when trying to use the “Outside/Right” toolpath from 2D profile option. The preview of the toolpath shows not only that the path does not follow the 6 pieces to be cut from the plywood, but that it applies a 3.5 cm offset around the combined 6 polygons. Any idea what is happening here? See attached images. If I select the “on” toolpath, it displays the anticipated paths. Any guidance is appreciated,

Thanks.

If you could upload your CRV file that would help us to help you.

It looks like the parts are too close together for the 1/4" tool (6.35mm) to fit between them. Create toolpaths for each part separately, and you'll see how they overlap.

Thanks, I will add more space between parts and see what transpires.
