Intersecting Lines

Newby here. I've looked online & fumbled around as long as i want so i'm reaching out to you guys. How can i delete the lines that intersect the bats so that i just have the open arc around them. I need the bat lines that intersect to go away so they aren't cut out & cut off my banner that eventually have a name and number in it.

Zoom in and if the lines truly intersect use the scissors tool to cut the parts you don't want. If they don't really overlap, you'll need to extend the banner past the bat before trimming.

Found out a way, not sure if it's the fastest. I just went around and inserted Nodes at intersections and did cut vectors and after some trial and error the lines disappeared. :P

Scissors (Interactive Trim) is definitely the best way to do it.
