Hi, I am trying to run Cut2d on my workshop machine(pentium600 Mhz). When I try to calculate the toolpath the programme comes up with a fatal error message and crashes. The same package runs fine on my laptop and desktop in the house so I assume that this software will not run on a 600 mhz machine. Is this correct or do I have another problem.
Many thanks
Fatal error

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing installation problems with Cut2D.
It sounds like the problem may be related to the Graphics Card on the PC.
If you have an Integrated Intel 82815 or 82810 graphics chip set, this chipset, (and some others)
only supports a maximum 16 bit colour depth for the screen mode.
To run Cut2D on these graphics cards, the Screen Quality needs to be changed to 16 bit Colour.
To do this:
From the bottom left corner of the screen select,
Start > Programs > Control Panel
Select > Display
Click the Settings Tab
Edit the Color Quality – to 16 bit (sometimes called medium or 65,536 colors)
You may need to restart the PC after making this change.
If you are still having problems please mail me at, support (at) vectric (dot) com with details of your system.
I hope that this helps.
