Hi
Im using CUT2D and the General GRBL sender with GRBL(MM) postprocessor.
Its fairly accurate for most things but lacks the precision I need for some of more intricate, complex items or when the item I'm making requires a high level of precision.
I ordered some anti-backlash nuts 6 weeks ago but I haven't received them yet (maybe lost in the Australian Postal system!) , so I cant say how much they will improve the problem.
I was wondering if there is any way that either the post processor or CUT2D can compensate for Backlash?
i.e. is there a setting or a different Post-processor that I can configure so that it compensates for backlash ?
backlash issue - how to compensate for it.

No.
More feature rich controls (Mach3, UCCNC, LinuxCNC, .....) have backlash compensation features built in.
I don't think any of the GRBL based or other open source controls do.

Usually there is no backlash compensation in design software. You should first remove all that is possible mechanically, then see if your control has any feature for backlash compensation.
