I saw a Rustic house Sign that was a free download.
It I believe was not for the Cut2D program.
It all looks pretty straight forward until you the roughing or grooving of the wood.
So can a look like that be created in cut2d. using texturing.
Or some other way.

See these two tutorials for how to create textures using Cut2D.

Re: Rustic house sign
I watched the first video and followed along duplicating what was being done on the video.
Saved what I had done and and loaded it in the trial version. Wanted to see if I could add tool paths.
Selected the vector and chose the only tool .25 em and calculated the tool paths
Simulated them and all got was a blank piece of wood
Can I not get a simulation in the trial version or did I miss a step.

Re: Rustic house sign
Sounds like you've missed a step. The trial is fully functional apart from being able to save toolpaths for your own designs.
Make sure you have the same type of tool selected and all the other settings are the same.

Re: Rustic house sign
In my trial version there is only 1 tool take come up when you select the tool to use,and that is a.25 end mill. if there is supposed to be others I did not get them, in my download.
I want to see if I can get one of the projects to cut on my Shapeoko
Can you tell me which ones I can use to cut something out.

Re: Rustic house sign
The trial should have the full set of tools with it. What do you see when clicking on Select... in a toolpath?

Re: Rustic house sign
That's fine. That's the full tool set. Just select the tool you want (expand the sections by clicking on the plus sign) and you should be good to go. I think the texture examples use the ball nose tools.

Adrian, Thanks, there is a good list of tool after you click the plus sign. DA Some times my Brain needs to be control Zd
Would you tell me what I need to do to cut one of the designs that you can with the trial version.
