Depends on your definition of "v groove". Cut2D doesn't have the vcarve toolpath which is the usual way.

If you could provide a little more info.

Hi I am just wanting to make some signs with the lettering done with a vgroove bit

That doesn't really provide any more information unfortunately.

The tutorials for Cut2D are here - http://support.vectric.com/tutorials/V9 ... =1&order=1 - if you look at the sign based ones that might give you some pointers to what you can and can't do.

The easiest way is to profile ON the line at a fixed depth. For example:
