radius groove

Post by Dale Yeager »

I want to create a radius groove in a project. The groove is bigger then my bits. Is there a way set up a pattern of cut with a specified bit size

Can't think of an easy way of doing it in that version as you can't use gadgets and Cut2D doesn't have a fluting toolpath. Only way I can think of is to create a whole series of closely spaced vectors and create toolpaths with different start depths etc.

I wasn't finding anything either, was hoping I was just missing something. I figured out to write the g-code to make it work, at least what I can simulate on the computer. I guess when I actually get my router system in place, I will find out if it works.
