Hi
Is it possible to cut/copy a selected vector and then paste it into a new position on the same layer? I only seem to be able to copy it to the original position.

If i copy then paste i find if you then use a move key/arrow the copy moves leaving the original underneath

Rather than cutting and pasting try clicking twice on the vector you want to copy to put it into move mode. Now hold the Ctrl key down and drag the vector to where you want it. The original will be where it was and the copy will be where you dragged it.

The problem I have is copying small items on a large panel. I was hoping to zoom into the place I wanted to place the copied item and just drop it in.
I'm guessing that's not possible?
