baffled on hew to cut out single line letters on my shark with cut 2 D ? i can cut double lined letters from the font thats listed but when i try single line it gives me a a message that it cant..... help!

Single line text has to be cut using the Profile toolpath with the Machine Vectors "On" box checked. Experiment with V bit angle and cutting depth until the preview shows a result that you like. You can also try a ball nose or flat bit, but the results are usually not very satisfactory.

Note:I am assuming that Cut2D is similar to VCarve Pro (which is what I have).

im having a hard time transfering cut 2 D desktop that i bought onto another computer i keep getting a message that says the specific path doesnt exist ..... help??

You don't transfer the program to another computer. You install it again from scratch using the installation file.

I HAVE A CNC SHARK PRO 24 X 24 X 4.5 MY Z STEP MOTOR HUMS BUT STOPPED MOVING IT STARTED WORKING A FEW TIMES MORE AFTER JOGGING IT FIINALLY IT WONT MOVE BUT STILL HUMS WHEN I TRY YO JOG IT ....IT MOVED IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION THAT I WANTED IT TO MOVE A FEW TIMES BUT I'LIKE I SAID IT STOPPED WORKING DO I NEED A NEW !? CAN I REPLACE MYSELF IF SO ? WHERE CAN I BUY?

Dean:
I would suspect that there is something binding. Try turning the acme shaft by hand with the power off. Also, try the Shark forum or contact New Wave Automation. They are the most likely to know the answer.
