Hi Everyone,
First post on this forum allthough I have been reading a lot of the post's, I have an OX build machine running an Xpro controller and cut2D desktop. There are a lot of things in cut2D that I don't understand one of them being ''offset'' how and where do you use it,& what dose it do?? Can any body explain this for me.

Re: offset
Do you mean offset on the job setup?
Most users will cut a job with XY zero at a corner or in the middle of the actual workpiece. Using the offset value lets you position at an offset from the chosen XY zero instead.
Say you had a 10" square piece on an 8' x 4' machine and it was set 2' in from XY zero point of the machine. Most people will reset the XY zero to be at the corner or middle of the actual 10" square and go from there. With the offset you could set it to 2' in the XY and set the zero to machine corner instead.
