Use a program such as Inkscape to convert bitmap images to vectors. ->Link

I tried the Inkscape ..I found that you had to complete a trace bitmap and found that the lines turned out doubled or tripled after saved to use it in cut2D ..created a nightmare when selecting vectors

You have to trace it somehow, whether it's manually or using one of the many automatic programs. Cut2D can't do anything with a scanned image directly.
