I recently purchased a Probotix fireball meteor cnc router. I am having an issue with the work envelope on the machine not matching my cut2D sign. If anyone knows how to orient the sign in cut2D so it runs the y xis (long edge) of the work envelope I would appreciate any pointers. the work envelope in Linuxcnc is 24x48 and I can't seem to rotate it in linux. I tried rotating it in cut2D and exporting as gcode file (.ngc) but when I load it in linux it still runs across the short side (24") of the envelope. Need help figuring out rotation. Probably something simple I just can't seem to find it in the help section or tutorials.
Will be back in an hour or so.

Re: fireball meteor
Are you able to swap the X and Y connections?

Re: fireball meteor
I suppose I could but there has to be a way of rotating the work piece (I am cutting) or the work envelope on the machine. Probotix will be open again tomorrow and I can get an answer there. Just itching to get my machine running tonight

4DThinker bought one earlier this year, perhaps he'll chime in. http://forum.vectric.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=18996

Re: fireball meteor
I got it figured out. Len over at Probotix is great tech support. I don't think I could have found a better product with better (or even comparable) tech support anywhere.
