You can just create two Post Processors, one with and one without and use which ever one you want for the circumstance can't you?

We have come across this problem & I'm grateful for all your posts! Has there been any moves from above re a better fix than modifying the post processor? or the generated code?

Which problem? There are a few in this thread but the original one was the user not setting the Home Z correctly so no changes were needed to the PP or code.

There was also a discussion of G43. This "problem", IMHO, is not a problem but a result of not knowing how to setup their machine controller. Any post processor that doesn't include a G43 after every tool change is seriously broken and will be disastrous if using a properly configured machine.

No need to wish or ask. If you don't wish that feature (or line) to be active, remove it from the post processor you use. Simple as that.
