Sorry for not replying sooner been busy. First let me say thanks and no havent pocketed the rear side as of yet but will post. Been trying to do a mold out of corian, I imported the greenman model into my Rhino3.0 and turned it upside down to cut as a mold and here is what it looked like with light behind. Will post pics of Stievie after pocketing is done, thanks.
Re: Stevie Ray
They all look great! I am a newbie to all of this however I am eager to get started! Can you please tell me what materials you are using to make these Litho's?

Re: Stevie Ray
Hello Keith and welcome. I started useing white plastic, the lens cover material used for flouresent light fixtures. It works ok with a fine bit but corian works best, it holds the image a lot better. The white plastic is cheap enough to start practice on, it comes .062 and .125 thick. I used the .062 and only carved down .030... So,s not to break through the other side.Cheers.

Hello Grease ,
When I was having problems getting my neck worked on, I made a lithophane from a MRI.
Part of it was too dark so I had to flip it and mill off some from the back.
Doctor wasn't impressed when I handed it to him and said.
If you can't see the problem maybe you can feel it
Needless to say he wasn't happy with me ... even went so far as prescribing anti depressant lol .
I dropped him...
My neurosurgeon loved the neck lithophane ... He fixed me right up
I don't think I would want to do this on a regular lithophane,
I would be afraid that it would flex or vibrate to much due to thinness of the lithophane.
Just my opinion... Hope it works out.
