In order to install my 8.5 gadgets in version 9, I copied the contents (less the readme file) of
C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Vectric Files\Gadgets\VCarve Pro V 8.5
to the VCarve Pro V9.0 folder in the same path.

Adrian,

Do you know when upgrading from VCP to Aspire do I need to copy the tool database, post processor files, etc... I was not asked if I wanted to copy those files.

I would copy to be safe. But when I upgraded the first time I started Aspire 9 it prompts you to migrate all of the files you mentioned from older versions.

If the migrate option doesn't come up when you first install you can find it on the Help menu when you run V9.

If your software came bundled with your machine then it might be better to contact the company that sold it to you though, I know shopbot have a slighly different software version & shopbot customers upgrade through them

Not a different software Martin...It's that we only have Shopbot post processors for our machines.
It is only good for a Shopbot.

Anyone know if there a PDF version for the 9.0 vcarve desktop yet?

There no reference link in the start up as there was with 8.5.

Perhaps that should be in the Help file somewhere. Although I've noticed the space bar doing that a few times this is the first time that "last used" feature of it was mentioned in my experience.

Phil, Are you referencing the V9 3D Tabs Clipart for VCarve clip art? If not where in the portal do you see this
V9 additional clipart?

V9 additional clipart?

The additional clipart is for Aspire only. If you have VCarve 9 you won't see it.
