logo carve

Post by handcrafted »

I was going to have James do this logo for me (sorry James).

I had never played much in PhotoVCarve, after a few minutes of reading some of the forum post and 10 minutes in the program... i was ready to cut...

this is my logo... I did stop the machine before it came back on the cross hatch pass. I thought for a first run this was great!

Nice work, that technique sure produces a different look to a sign.

I have been playing with this for a few days now... I have almost perfected a simple load pic and cut... I have also been fooling around with tooling to try to cut this 4'x8'. I guess i'll know soon if it works or I am making a nice piece of scrap wood.
