Christmas Gift for grand kids n great grand kids, had not make any of these in a long time got wild hair and made clock for everyone I used candle stone for the lithp could not find out what the stuff is made of but it work very well.

there was guy that is real good at doing lithp and he post on Shop Bot forum a long time ago he used transparency film that you us for view fold. I made one about 10 yr ago for my mother in law but had not made any until now. I also used candle stone not sure what it made of can not find anything about it. if someone can shed some light on this it be great.

I also did colored lithos myself using transparency film. When doing these you have to print the picture exactly the same size of the litho and line it up, not hard at all.

So you guys are saying, that you print the picture on a transparency and then line it up with the back of the litho. The backing light then shines through both the transparency and the "candlestone' creating the coloured affect?.
Am i on the right track?.

yes right on track, what I do is print the picture on white paper first and get the right size, then print the transparency one, I use ink jet transparency and is quit high.
