My first successful pvc. I'm going to face it off and try .060 depth in a little bit, after I change color of shirt and background.
Opinions, suggestions and criticism welcome.

Maple .125 30 Degree cutter NO flat. .030 depth 15% line spacing 30 degree line angle. With crosshatching. 90 IPM 21600 rpm.

Hi J-Arr

It looks pretty good to me, one suggestion I would make though is it looks like you might have stained the wood prior to sealing it and the stain appears to have some bleed thru in it, if that is what I am seeing. I had that problem on my first few and had to do some excessive sanding which removed some detail. What I do now is seal the wood several times and then spray a light coat of fast drying paint which fills the grooves but dries so quick that there is very little bleed thru, then I lightly sand, it seems to keep the image sharper looking on my projects. Anyways I think you did a great job on your first project.

Glenn,
your right. I didn't seal it before staining. I'll give it a go next time around, in a couple days. I got sidetracked with a dog memorial plaque for a family friend.

Jerry,
I see you have a WI on the end of your username. Are you a fellow cheesehead?
