Another PVC in maple

I guess working with maple is one of my favorite woods to work with. I cut it from a cabinet door panel and framed it with door stiles. I used minwax stains to get the colors.

Very nice. I like the subtle coloring with the stains. Did you seal the Maple prior to "colorizing" the various areas (like a glaze technique)?

mtylerfl - I use a pre-stain wood conditioner prior to staining it. I used another piece of maple to create a color stain palate with the oil stains that Minwax carries to pick the colors I want to use.
