Nice job how are you applying your finish? Any before carving and what are you using after . pop's

I apply sanding sealer to the wood before engraving, I find it helps keep the wood intact on the edges of the engraving especially with text if using a small font, plus it acts as a barrier for any over spill of wood dye that I apply to the engraved areas after machining, then sand the whole item and apply a satin lacquer.
