elephant night light

Post by tonydude919 »

Elephant night light measures 3.5" by 3' high. Took 2 hrs to cut using .125 ball nose for rough and .0625 ball nose for finish cut.

Hi: Great job. Might I offer a tip? If you use a 1/4 inch shank tapered .0625 4 flute ball nose from Bits n Bits you can eliminate the rough cut and directly do the finish cut. Those bits are very strong and last a long time. Plus being 4 flutes you can reduce the router rpm's almost by half and loose a lot of noise. Norm

Do you have a link for Bits n Bits? I googled Bits n Bits and couldn't find what you mentioned.

Thanks,

Phil

Norm,

Do you have a part number for the 1/4 inch shank tapered .0625 4 flute ball nose? I can't find it on the website. I found a 2 flute but not a 4...

Thanks,

Mike :?
