pet urn

Post by Bob Reda »

I had to put down my pet cat I had for more than 10 years. I decided to try the pvc to make the urn. It is on cherry the pic itself is 3"x4" I think I could have made it a little darker since it was on cherry. used 125% spacing. .035 depth ran it at 33 ^ with a 1/4" 60^ v bit. I think it came out pretty good. Maybe going to start using it on the urns I make.

Bob,
Sorry about your cat. That came out very nice. I like that you put the pic on top. What did you use to make the cat dark? I know that cherry darkens with age. Would like to see more of the urns you make.

Thanks Tony,

I used a water based black paint craft type. After I was all done with the finishing I tried some black shoe polish and it darkened it a little more, Came off very easy.
