A friend of mine does 3d modeling mostly for animation purposes but is very good at it. I was discussing the need for 3 demensional files that could be used as plant-ons for signage. One need I have is for a pair of barbers scissors about 3 ft long to go on a salon sign. Well I didn't mention barber to him so I didn't get barber scissors but... The resulting file he created from scratch useing a pair of scissors on his wifes desk. I cut the file in 3d cut out of 3/4 mdf. The cool thing is even though these scissors are over sized they ergonomicly fit my hand. I think he did a great job.
BTW the file was creatd in Lightwave.

Kimon, the scissors look great! That is a great finish they have too. Did you do any sanding to get that smoothness or is that what they looked like off the cnc?
Btw, I think I would keep your friend supplied in coffee and beer. Looks like he could be a real asset.
