If you get a chance I would like to see the finished piece, and what it slides into. Does the ball mill do as good as a face mill?

I'll be happy to post an update once I get farther into the project.

I've never used a face mill, so I can't compare with experience, but from what I've seen a face mill would have produces a much smoother surface, at least on the areas it could have been used.

The .25 inch ball mill even with only a 5% step over left a very obvious pattern that you can feel with your finger.
