That's nice. Try decreasing your stepover to maybe 10 or 8% in the finishing pass. It'll take longer but should get rid of those lines and give you a smoother cut. - AD :twisted:

Very nice, I like the finish what did you use on the wood post cutting?

It looks to me the Z on your machine is loosing possition I.e the Z is sometimes a little too high or a little too low making the lines worse. or is it just me???

I have to agree with the Z losing position. That or the material wasn't anchored down well enough and moved as the bit rode over it. - AD :twisted:
