German Lugar and Cut 3d

Post by wooddr »

This is one of my first projects with Cut 3d. I really like the possibilities with this program. This is a 3d model that I edited in Artcam Pro to add the detail on the handle.

Hi Dirk,

Excellent project!

Did you use the 2 Sided machining strategy?
What method was used to align the material?

Tony,

I did use the 2 sided machining strategy. As far as my alignment I just simply flipped it 180 degrees. I am going to do another one using reference holes, because I did get it off just a little bit when I flipped it. Nothing that I couldn't sand out though. You guy's have a great product, that I can see using a lot and incorporating in with my indexer.
