Cut3D and VCarve Table Projects

Post by lpcsales »

I've been away for awhile...been swamped in work for the last 5-6 months, but I'm taking a breather today and thought I would show you some tables I came up with.

I used both Cut3D and VCarve to make these. I did the design work in Corel and exported the parts as eps. The clear acrylic inlays I did on the laser and they have an engraved design around their edges to help with blending in with the table top.

Peg did all of the stain work. If you notice, on the 3D reliefs, she took the time to stain them in a different shade from what the table was to be done in. It created a nice effect and helped to empasize the 3D.

Both tables are made from Oak.

Those are very nice. I like how you did the carving with a cover!

My machine is just large enough to do smallish tables, I should try one sometime.
