m16 cane

Post by artezz »

I`m gaining on this project. I hope to have it finished this week. I was asked to show it in th VA art festable, so I`ve been rushing, to get it done. Mistake, I know better, but did it anyway. Two steps forward 10 steps back. If something could go wrong it has, well it has been a learning experience for sure.I will use a 3/4 dowell rod ,that will run the lenght for stability. The wood used this time is pine. in the near future I`m going to make an m16 a1. This is the a2 version. The a1 is what I used in Nam. The Mag will be turned into a wallet.I1ll use leather on the inside to make that. The half wood half acrlic, gernade when finished will have a skull carve in the under side of the acrylic, and be back light with led lights. When you squeeze the gernade handle it will show the skull.more pics to come.

Nice work, not to mention "different"!

The LED lighted grenade is ingenious. I'd enjoy seeing photos of the finished products.
