CUT3D looks very cool...

Post by scoperoller »

Before I buy, is there any way to get the Sherline gCode for a particular part so that I can verify it will work?

With the trial version you can output code for any of the sample files that come with it. You can also create your own projects but you can only preview them rather than saving the code.

It might be worth a look at VCarve as well as it has a lot of 3D features.

Finally it could be worth your while posting a picture of the type of parts you want to make. There have been people who have posted here saying they want Cut3D and when they've showed the parts they want to do they are parts that would be very inefficient to do in Cut3D and something like Cut2D or VCarve would be a better buy.
