Tool step down????

Is tool step down the same as pass depth? Any help is appreciated.

Step down is the same as pass depth as far as Cut3D is concerned. Confusingly some of the error messages do say step down.

Exceeding the cut plane depth message is the most common one to see and this thread - http://forum.vectric.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5939 - may help if you're getting that message.
