final pass does not eliminate roughing toolmarks.

i am milling a 3d pocket with a contoured bottom. therefore using cut3d. apparently the finish pass is not offset from where the bulk of the material is removed leaving rough (scalloped) pocket sides from the edge of the cutter. anyone else experience this and know how to correct it? i know when cutting a 2d pocket using v carve, you can select a finish pass to occur either before or after the bulk of material is removed. cut3d does perform a finish pass but does not seem to be offset.

This has been mentioned many times in the past. Hopefully Vectric are listening.

have you lowered your stopover to a value less than the stopover of the roughing cut?
That should create an overlap. but it does slow things down. cheers!

Could you attach the file or attach some screenshots showing your settings for each stage?
