I am using VCP and I am thinking of getting cut 3d. Will files from Turbocad work in the cut 3d.
Thanks

Post one of your Turbocad stl (or other) formatted files, and I'll test it in Cut3D.

Thanks for the offer Bob. I am just trying out the turbocad to see if I can figure it out and make my own 3d drawings. I don't have a file completed yet.

There are ways of dealing with STL files in VCP7, although not as elegantly as a program like Cut3D. You can convert the STL into Comma Separated Values 3D toolpath, then import that and place it on a VCP project using a gadget.

Re: Tubocad
Turbocad STL's import fine. The DXF's I tried had errors, but there are several types of DXF files. I didn't try them all. STL's work great though.
