Hello,
I"m new using Vcarve Pro 7.0 and the CNC Shark Pro.
I use the Autodesk 2013 Suite (inventor & Regular Autocad)
I have simple geometry saved as .dxf.
I open the .dxf file and nothing shows up.
I create a new file and import the .dxf and nothing shows up.
Using autocad 2013, I saved the geometry as .dxf.
The file clearly shows up in the Vcarve import and open menu.
All I really need to to is cut two R 1.5 arcs at the end of a 15 x 2.5 x .75 piece of wood.
I need to follow the arc path then index down, make another pass until the full .75 thickness is complete.
Any help?
If anyone needs to see the CAD drawing I can make that available too.
Thank you,

Re: Getting Started
You will certainly get more assistance if you post in the VCP forum!
If it is just some arcs, why not draw them in VCP directly?

Re: Getting Started
Hi there and welcome.
I am a CAD guy too. I have used AutoCAD for many years and I now use Solidworks
BUT
As good as we are with AutoCAD - I would encourage you to really get into the VCarve and learn how to get good and creating your vectors in VCarve.
I hear soooooooo many issues with importing into VCarve or Aspire.
When you get good at the Vectric way - in the Vectric products - life will be easier .

Re: Getting Started
As soon as you've done the import press the F9 key. It might be that the vectors are there but off the material and that will centre them.
