I have imported an STL file and I would like to change the axis orientation of the part. ie: I wish to swap the Z axis with either the X or Y axis due to the fact the Z axis on the part is too tall for my machine.
I am very new to Cut 3D, any input would be appreciated.
Thanks
Kevin

Re: Changing Axis Orientation on imported STL
I have been doing some playing around with the orientation settings and getting closer, but not quite what I am after. I would like to be able to rotate the part around the long axis in order to cut this as a top and bottom to simplify things (feel free to offer and suggestions on the best approach to cut this if my approach is incorrect.)
I am thinking I need to work out the orientation issues back in my STL editor first before importing it into Cut3D. Here again I welcome any suggestions
I have included the file here
Thanks
