I just downloaded the Cut3d trial software and Processed the top layer tool path for the "leaf bowl"
Everything was looking good up to about 45 minutes into the roughing cut.
Out of nowhere it started cutting a circular path several inches in diameter, looks to be centered on workpiece center.
Since this was my first attempt, I aborted the run and moved on to something else.
You can see it when you step through the MACH 3 code line -by-line, in the toolpath window..
Any ideas how to troubleshoot what happened.
I have done several projects now with CUT2D with no problems.
Could not attach g-code file ....... it is 1.2MB

Re: CUT3D ADDS PHANTOM CODE
What PP are using. I always used the GCode_inch.tap I found that I had a few curricular issues when using the Mach PP. I'm pretty sure it's not Cut3D. I also heard something about "I" "J" Mode but I don't know enough to go into detail. I do know I never had a problem with GCode_inch.tap

Re: CUT3D ADDS PHANTOM CODE
As Jim says it sounds like the IJ mode in Mach3 is not set correctly for Cut3D. If you don't see the circles in the Cut3D preview but you do in the Mach3 preview then that's a sure sign of it.
You need to set the IJ mode on the General Configuration menu of Mach3 to Incremental.
