Thanks to Tim Merrill's tutorial for giving me the courage to glaze this great 7x10 Vector Art model. using color really brought out the contrast of the plants. I use a DIY router that is pretty slow. A real test as to how long you can hold your breath while waiting for something to go wrong. All worked out & very happy with the result. This is the perfect gift for a couple that has been doing our volunteer lake testing for years. Thanks for the great product and forums.

My local hardware store carry's the Cabot line of deck stains. They have a rack of dozens of 4oz samples of water based stains. This one is Evergreen. This is some form of quilted maple with a lot of crazy grain. I also used 4 coats of Zinsser seal coat, Generals burnt umber, Minwax spray poly.
