Its A Boy!

Post by mboydraska »

Attached is an unfinished plaque I did for my daughter who had her second child, my third grandchild Tuesday. It turned out rather well. Just have to add a frame with alittle sanding and finish. The plaque is approx 3/4 - 8in x 12in made from scrap maple. I started out cutting the blocks then pocketed around them. The depth was 0.37inches needless to say I cut away a lot of material to get what I wanted.

Congratulations - it looks great! One of the first things that happened after I got my machine and software was a: "Granddaughter!" So a plaque was one of the first things off my machine! What more can we ask, but to give for our future generations! Here's a picture of mine, but keep in mind, this was basically a copy of a Vectric tutorial - yours shows more creativity!

I can't say welcome to the grandpa club, but every one is like a new one, a real treasure!
