My first try ver. 2

Post by Jonmilligan »

This is my first try with the software, I like it! Model is cut in 45mm thick Victorian Ash(Eucalypt).

Wow! Did it take a long time to cut?
Take it easy.

:) Hi Jay, it took 7 hours to cut, using a 12mm endmill to rough cut and then a 0.25 inch ball end to finish. I will post some images of th process over the weekend. The customer originally wanted it painted purple! We finally pursuaded him to have it black, but it looked a million dollars in plain wood grain with more fine detail.
BTW I almost lived in Royal Oak in 1990, small world eh.
