My Wife's V-Day Gift

Post by AngelicDiablo »

I call it my Frankenstein Quilt Rack. I used Oak for the sides, Mahogany for the dowel rods, Walnut for the stretcher, Wenge for the dowel rod end inserts and Zebrawood for the stretcher end inserts. Thanks. -AD

I really like the way that turned out. Did you cut the entire side with the router or just the caving?

Both sides along with the holes for the dowels and the mortice for the tenon were done with the router. I thought it turned out OK. There are a couple of flubs since I didn't prototype it. Just went for it. If I get around to making another one, it'll be perfect. :D -AD

Very nice AD, I think you will be at the Austin SB Camp? If so I look forward to meeting you there. Cheers, James

Way Cool AD!
Absolutely fantastic!

You've got some expensive woods in this project too. What do you think you would sell this for? I really like it and wish I had the time to put that much energy into my projects.

Really! I like it!

Keep up the great work and congratulations on a great job!

WOW!
