The American Cowboy

Post by andyb »

The American Cowboy was carved for one of my customers as a gift to his mother. The carving is hanging in the main house of a working horse ranch in California. The piece was carved in 2" thick pine. The customer supplied the material and he finished. This is one of 3 that I've cut for him. The model is from vectorart3d.com.

I'm trying to get a picture of one that I used Aspire to cookie cut the cattle and added more to the scene. Aspire and James made it easy to do.

Great job Andy!

Excellent choice of wood and I like the edge treatment also.

That looks great! The depth of cut looks really good. It almost makes me wish I was a cowboy.
