Multi Part Crucifix 4' x 2'

Post by JamesB »

Bill Solomon sent me the photos shown below of a very nice Crucifix he made using a combination of our Crucifix model and Corpus model. The part was toolpathed in 3D Machinist then imported into VCarve Pro 6 and the toolpath tiling functions used to split the part and cut it on Bill's CNC Shark. The stand also has our cross model carved into it.

The corpus is flat backed - although as a coincidence Tim Merrill and I will have something to show at Jim McGrews camp this weekend which (for Aspire users) takes this a stage further...

Big thanks to Bill for the pics - excellent job with both the software side of things, the toolpath and finishing. The second image I assume is Bill providing a scale to show how big it is.

Regards,
James
