Bethlehem Star, carved in Single Seed juniper (from a piece that was estimated at 2,000 plus years old. The wood was given to me by a very good friend, I won't say his name but his initials are (DP):) I took this to the Colorado CNC user group Saturday for it first public viewing. I used a 1/16 tapered ball tip to carve and sanded to 400 grit on the front side and 220 grit on the back side. I used Watco Natural Danish Oil for a finish.
I need to engineer a stand for this work.
I thought the Design & Make Bethlehem Star was a great choice for the piece of wood. My wife loves it.
The back side I used Jim's flag gadget.
